Dr. Leemu Kerkula
Dr. Leemu Kerkula is a board certified provider specializing in Internal Medicine. She graduated from Penn State University with a BS in Biology and then went on to obtain her MD from Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. After graduation she went on to complete her Internal Medicine residency at Hahnemann Hospital.
Dr Kerkula treats multiple common medical conditions including hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity, depression and anxiety, as well as many others. She has been practicing in the Delco area since 2010 and has affiliations with Mainline Health, Chester Crozer, and Penn Medicine. Dr. Kerkula has been featured in Mainline Top Docs and has also been voted Top Doc of Aston by her patients. She has even been recognized as Top Doc for Women in Medicine several years in a row.
Dr. Kerkula currently runs her own private medical practice, United Medical Clinic of PA; and also organized and operates Fini Health and Wellness Group – which is geared towards helping our youth navigate the world of a healthy lifestyle from adolescence that they can carry into their adulthood.
When she is not nurturing and bettering the lives of others you can find her spending time with her family or cheering on her two children during their sporting events!
